Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy

Updated November 18, 2024

1. Introduction

Doblox is committed to conducting business in accordance with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable anti-money laundering (AML) laws and regulations. The purpose of this policy is to prevent and mitigate the risks of being involved in any activities that facilitate money laundering or terrorism financing.

2. Scope

This AML Policy applies to all employees, directors, and partners of Doblox. The policy also extends to customers and third-party service providers where relevant.

3. Regulatory Compliance

Doblox adheres to applicable AML regulations and guidelines to ensure operations align with the legal requirements in jurisdictions where it operates. Specifically, this policy ensures compliance with sanctions lists and restricted locations as defined by international authorities such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the United Nations, and the European Union.

4. Risk-Based Approach

Doblox employs a risk-based approach in its AML procedures to allocate resources effectively and efficiently. High-risk areas are identified, and appropriate measures are taken to monitor, manage, and mitigate these risks.

5. Location and Sanctions Restrictions

Doblox enforces location-based restrictions as part of its AML compliance:

  • Users from sanctioned or restricted countries and territories are prohibited from accessing the services of Doblox.
  • Continuous monitoring of IP addresses and location data is performed to identify and block access from restricted regions.
  • Verification procedures ensure that users do not originate from or have any affiliations with countries that are subject to international sanctions.

6. Know Your Customer (KYC)

Doblox partners with verified exchanges (such as Crypto.com) that perform robust KYC processes. Although Doblox does not directly manage user funds, it relies on these partners to maintain high KYC standards to validate user identity and mitigate potential AML risks.

7. No Handling of User Funds

Doblox operates as a SaaS platform and does not manage or invest user funds. Users are responsible for trading within their accounts, connected through verified third-party integrations. This reduces exposure to potential money laundering activities.

8. Ongoing Monitoring

Doblox conducts continuous monitoring of user activity to detect and report suspicious activities. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Monitoring location data.
  • Reviewing any unusual activity that may indicate a risk of money laundering or terrorism financing.
  • Reporting suspicious activities to relevant authorities as required by law.

9. Training and Awareness

All relevant personnel receive training to recognize and report suspicious activities. This includes understanding how to use and implement location-based restrictions and respond to potential AML concerns.

10. Reporting and Record-Keeping

Doblox maintains records of transactions and user activities for a period defined by applicable regulations. Records are kept in a manner that is secure and easily accessible for regulatory reviews.

11. Responsibilities and Accountability

The Company Director is responsible for the oversight and implementation of the AML Policy. Employees must report any potential violations of this policy to the designated AML Compliance Officer.

12. Review and Updates

This AML Policy is reviewed regularly and updated to ensure alignment with evolving regulations and business practices.
